It’s time to take control. Together.

Residential and outpatient treatment programs designed for you.

With you, every step of the way

Counseling, medical monitoring, and physician/nursing care are just a few services clients receive at Federal City Recovery Services. Whether a client simply needs outpatient care or intensive residential treatment, we are committed 24/7 to making sure they do not walk the road to recovery alone. We honor their courage to take that first step towards healing and therefore, we put forth great efforts to enforce privacy and provide a comfortable environment. Our quality improvement initiatives always put clients first and foremost when designing their unique treatment plans because our decades of experience have taught us an invaluable lesson – no two clients are alike. Each history has its own makeup and impressions and should not be treated as alike.

What we treat.

  • Federal City Recovery Services provides inpatient, outpatient, and residential treatment options for alcoholism and alcohol use disorder. The treatment plan we implement involves behavioral counseling or medicines. Each client’s treatment is evidence-based and fully tailored to the unique needs of the client.

  • Examples include heroin (smack), fentanyl, oxycodone (percs), morphine, hydrocodone, and synthetic opioids (e.g., fentanyl-type substances, nitazenes, and xylazenes).

Federal City Recovery Services provides a comprehensive treatment model for opioid use disorder, including medically monitored withdrawal management, trauma-informed therapy, cognitive behavioral interventions, and referral for medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when appropriate. Each client’s treatment plan is personalized and may take place in a residential, inpatient, or outpatient setting, depending on severity and clinical appropriateness.

  • Examples include benzodiazepines (e.g., Xanax, Valium), barbiturates (e.g., phenobarbital), and sedative-hypnotic drugs (e.g., Ambien, Lunesta).

Federal City Recovery Services provides personalized treatment for depressant use disorders. These treatment plans address both the physical risks of withdrawal and the underlying emotional and psychological contributors to sedative dependence. Our approach may include tapering protocols, individual therapy, trauma recovery, and relapse prevention—delivered through inpatient, residential, or outpatient care based on clinical need.

  • Examples include Ritalin, Adderall, cocaine (Coke), methamphetamine (Meth), Ecstasy (MDMA), and other amphetamines.

Federal City Recovery Services provides a client-specific treatment plan for those with stimulant use disorder. Treatment is based on a comprehensive clinical assessment of the client’s symptoms, risk factors, and available support system. Our inpatient, residential, and outpatient treatment options focus on developing healthy behaviors and coping strategies that reduce the psychological and behavioral drivers of stimulant use.

  • Examples include poppers, nitrous oxide (“oz”), paint thinners, glue, aerosol sprays, whippets, and other volatile substances.

Federal City Recovery Services provides individualized care for inhalant use disorder—often seen in younger populations or individuals with high-risk coping patterns. Our programs address the unique neurological and behavioral challenges associated with inhalant use. Treatment includes withdrawal stabilization, emotional regulation skill-building, individual and group therapy, and case management support. Services are available through residential, inpatient, or outpatient programming depending on the client’s needs.

  • Examples include: PCP, Dippers, LSD (acid), psilocybin (magic mushrooms), ketamine (Special K), DMT, mescaline (peyote)

Federal City Recovery Services offers comprehensive treatment for hallucinogen-related disorders. Our approach focuses on stabilizing individuals experiencing lingering psychological effects—such as paranoia, anxiety, or hallucinations—while addressing co-occurring trauma or mental health conditions. Treatment may include psychiatric evaluation, trauma-informed therapy, harm-reduction education, and long-term mental health support, delivered through residential or outpatient care depending on clinical need.

  • Examples include: K2/Spice (synthetic marijuana), Bath Salts (synthetic cathinones), Flakka, synthetic opioids (like U-47700 or nitazenes), MDMA (Ecstasy/Molly), 2C family drugs, NBOMe compounds

Federal City Recovery Services provides evidence-based treatment for individuals affected by synthetic and designer drug use. These substances can cause unpredictable and dangerous effects, including psychosis, aggression, cardiovascular issues, and long-term cognitive impairment. Our treatment model addresses both the immediate risks and the deeper behavioral and psychological patterns behind use. Services may include medical monitoring, psychiatric care, trauma-informed therapy, and relapse prevention—available through both residential and outpatient settings tailored to each client’s needs.

What “The Greats” Say…

  • The difference between a good and excellent place is that the latter helps you. This is what Federal City did for me and my family. I feel better than before.

    A former client

  • I was at Federal City ... and they did a good job with me. [The other clients and I] had the resources we needed and they even continued to monitor us ... after the program was over.
